For standard routes (e.g. container from Shanghai to Odesa) — the quote may be ready within a few hours. 4What documents are required for international shipping?
Ukrautologistic Group supports clients at every stage of documentation. The standard import package includes: commercial invoice, packing list, transport documents (CMR, bill of lading or air waybill), certificate of origin where required. Certain cargo categories may require additional permits: phytosanitary certificate, certificate of conformity, import licence. Ukrautologistic Group managers prepare a complete document checklist tailored to each specific shipment and ensure everything is correctly completed before customs clearance.
5What are the delivery times for international cargo?
Ukrautologistic Group delivers cargo to Ukraine within the following estimated transit times: road freight from EU countries — 3 to 7 days, sea container shipping from China — 25–40 days (depending on port of origin and destination), rail freight from China (New Silk Road) — 18–25 days, air freight from anywhere in the world — 3–7 days. For each request Ukrautologistic Group calculates several route options with different transit times and costs, so the client can choose the most suitable one.
6Does Ukrautologistic handle customs clearance?
Ukrautologistic Group provides full customs clearance for import and export cargo — import clearance, export clearance and transit documentation. The company works with a network of licensed customs brokers across Ukraine and abroad, enabling clearance at any customs terminal convenient for the client. The cost of customs clearance through Ukrautologistic depends on the declared cargo value — for standard shipments up to €100,000 the broker fee starts from approximately €120. For higher-value cargo or complex commodity codes — the cost is calculated individually.
7What types of cargo do you transport?
Ukrautologistic Group transports virtually all cargo categories: container (FCL/LCL), general, groupage, oversized and heavy loads, liquid bulk, dry bulk (grain, fertilisers), temperature-controlled (reefer containers, refrigerated trucks), hazardous (ADR), military and dual-use cargo, humanitarian cargo, industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, power equipment. For international routes the company works with any cargo volume. For domestic Ukraine — from 5 tonnes. Ukrautologistic Group does not handle household moves, personal belongings or live animals.
8Can I track my shipment during transit?
Ukrautologistic Group provides full cargo tracking at every stage of transit. For road freight, GPS tracking of the vehicle is used — the client gets real-time access to the current location of their cargo. For sea container shipments, tracking is carried out through shipping line systems and specialised tracking platforms. In addition, an Ukrautologistic Group manager provides regular status updates from key checkpoints along the route. Where needed, additional monitoring services are available — temperature control for reefer containers or door-opening sensors.
9Do you provide cargo insurance services?
Ukrautologistic Group provides cargo protection on two levels. The first is carrier liability insurance, which is mandatory for every vehicle. The second is Ukrautologistic Group's freight forwarder liability insurance as an additional layer of protection for the client's interests. Where required, the company arranges comprehensive cargo insurance at full declared value through trusted insurance partners. Ukrautologistic Group recommends comprehensive cargo insurance for shipments valued at €50,000 and above, and for high-risk cargo — fragile equipment, electronics, high-value raw materials.
