✅ Result: cargo delivered in full with no claims
Route and transport: From Schwedt — a city in eastern Germany with a large paper mill — paper rolls weighing around 22.5 tonnes set off for Ukraine. For cargo like this, we select specialized vehicles: open-side trailers where the rolls stand on end and are secured with protector-lined straps. This is the standard for reel paper — so the lashing doesn’t damage the outer layer in transit.
Our approach to accepting cargo: Paper is a delicate material, and any careless handling during loading shows up immediately. That’s why we carry out a mandatory inspection of the cargo twice: before loading and after. If there’s anything to note, we photograph the roll together with its label and send the photo to the recipient before the vehicle departs. They decide for themselves whether to accept it. This is how we protect the recipient’s interests objectively — and it applies not only to paper, but to any cargo we handle.
Result: The consignment arrived on time and with no claims. A double inspection of the cargo — before loading and after — is a deliberate part of how we work, not a formality. We do it on every trip, because we know that one timely photo of a roll with its label can save the client more than the entire cost of the shipment.
